After Hours & Emergency Care
Emergencies
If you have a life threatening medical emergency, please call 911. If, after our regular working hours, your child needs to see a physician, please take your child to a Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Emergency Department or a Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Urgent Care center.
After Hours
We ask that the after hours call service be used for urgent situations only. For your convenience, a physician is on call twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. When we receive your after hours call, you will follow the prompts to be connected with a physician for phone consultation for advice for urgent matters. However, our doctors do not prescribe medication or give refills over the phone. There is a fee associated with after hours calls. Please check with your insurance company as they may provide a free after hours nurse line.
